The deadline draws near and all is chaos. Will it all get done? That remains to be seen. The sewing machine and fabric are packed. Paints and papers, doodads and glues are packed. Will my sanity be intact before this is over? Again, that remains to be seen. Moving is hell and I havent moved yet...I am just in the getting ready to do it stages. I probably wont be posting much because I am not making anything to post about...bear with me, I shall return.....

I feel your pain Melinda! When we moved here, just from across the yard, I thought I would go insane! My husband is a pack rat, that should give you a clue to the number of boxes that were packed. I'm patient, I'll wait for your next project, good luck with the move!

All of us are packrats. We are going to have a big garage sale this summer and part with lots of junk!!
Sherry
Good luck on you move girl!
Hey at least you've got everything in boxes, last time I moved I had to use trash bags..lol.
Anyway good luck and save moving, looking forward to hear from you when you have arrived at your destination!
Big hug.....
Andrea.
Moving is never fun, even if you are moving to someplace way better. Good luck and I will look forward to your return!
Hugs,

You're moving? How far away? Moving has a way of just taking over your life for awhile, doesn't it? Hope you feel settled soon!

Thanks for letting me know you received the bookmark and your kind words on my sunflowers. Much appreciated.
I love tags on your moving boxes. I can certainly relate to the one that says "Stuff we don't need but keep anyway." I hate moving but I hope your move goes well.
You are worth waiting for Melinda! Hang in there, take baby steps as much as possible. I can only imagine how daunting it is to move, we've been in the same house for almost 25 years = Yikes!
Take care, we're cheering you on and will be waiting for your return :)

I was going to post here to Sherry that NOT all of us are pack rats, just my hubby....then (hanging head in shame) I realized all the fabric, quilting & crafting stuff I have organized and realize, I too am a packrat! Aargh! I am praying for you on this move!
All the best with the move Melinda, have done it a few times myself and yep I know where you're coming from!! hang in there!
~*I've looked and looked... I need your return address for the Black and White Charm swap!*~
I see you are moving!
If you are moving soon, I can hold them until you have moved!
Let me know!
Good luck with all that packing and organising :)
Good luck!! The best advice I have was given to my cousin to me when my family was making a big move some years ago. He asked me how the move was going, and I told him it was okay... we were getting down to a bunch of little things and it was annoying trying to sort through that stuff, and he said, "Throw that crap away." I'll never forget it. It was so mind boggling. lol. :D I'll be waiting. I hope you get all situated in your new home thisfast.
Moving, quite the challenge. I have moved so many times I lost count, even three countries. But I will say that with each move I learned to depend on my strength within to reinvent myself each time. And with each new beginning I became happier. I learned that home is inside us, and we bring that with us wherever we go. Wishing you exciting adventures to bless your new place.

I'm feeling your pain Melinda -- I moved last year. I have no idea how I accumulated so much stuff. And I've been here almost a year and still haven't unpacked a lot of it. Email your new address to me once you're all settled in!

Good luck to you Melinda - I have moved twice and it is a chore but fun to unpack and start again. I will be thinking of you! I've been ill and out of the loop, but doing better everyday. Blessings, Jenna Louise
