Theme Thursday...Use a label
For my "label challenge, I made a tag using a tiny little label I found in a magazine on a Marie Antoinette image...It is on the big tag in the middle. Can you spot it? During OWOH I made a new friend and found the blog of Sherry Mitchell. http://www.smdesigns.typepad.com She actually does a tag giveaway on Friday...What she does is digitally makes tags and then emails you a sheet of them to print out. For people like me who can't alter anything with the computer it is really cool. So I used her Marie' tags and layered them up and Wa-La... here they are. My fave part of them is the hand dyed silk ribbon and the velvet and ecru lace on the bottoms...I could just admire it all day. Oh these are just gorgeous! I don't even know if you still have your computer hooked up, if not you'll see this when you reconnect.
Hi Melinda!
Just dropping by to visit and see what is up with you and as I see and read there is a lot! I love the tags and I agree with you that putting on silk ribbon and lace on tags (or any creation) is my favorite part of the process too! And you do it so well! Happy moving time and I hope you are back to creating and blogging soon! Much love and many blessings,
Katie
