It was a great weekend!

Camping was so fun! It was just a great time by all...The trailer is the most perfect little thing for us and our big dog...We got everything done just in time and spent four days enjoying it, each other and our families....We fished, and slept and ate and ran around. Here is a little sneak peek of the outside.....

On Alphabe Thursday this week the letter is T' so that is when I will give the full tour......The only thing we discovered that we did wrong, is we painted the oven and stove with regular paint....we were supposed to use a high heat paint....It still looks good after cooking a lot of food, but it did leave some scorch marks around the burners....We will eventually correct that little mistake....
Everyone oohed and aahed and asked to see the inside and we both got a real kick out of it...We got a "yee haw" yelled at us a block from home and a whole lot of thumbs ups on the freeway....
Here is the view from the inside of the trailer that we had while camping....

We were pretty close to the Oregon/ Idaho border in Hells Canyon....The water is part of the Brown Lee Reservoir....It is a beautiful place...

I came back to some fun mail goodies....First of all, I got my potholders from the Potholder Pass Three.....I asked for red, black and white and I just love how Nancy made them...They are so fun and will look beautiful in the Tumbleweed kitchen......She also sent me some cute ladybug fabric and some blue western fabric. She doesn't have a blog, I think she needs one!

It was a great swap and I definitely will be playing in the fall round too.....
The second thing in the mailbox is a wallet pattern I won from Janet of What Comes Next.....http://round22.blogspot.com
It is a really fun and unusual giveaway....A hot potato which means you keep the pattern for a month, make the wallet and then have a giveaway and give it to a new player....Here is the pattern....

It was started by Sarah of Sarahsprimtreasures.blogspot.com
Here is the wallet she made....

and here are the two that Janet made.......

I hope mine comes out as great as these did!
Today I have been playing catch up on some swaps and spending time with my little guys....I sure did miss them! I hope everyone had a great weekend.....

Your camper came out great, glad you had a nice spot and the weather cooperated. Looking forward to the pictures on Thursday.
We had a busy weekend my only son is graduating this Sunday so the weekend was spent getting the house and the yard in order for the big Grad party on Saturday.

I double clicked on the camper and tried to peek inside. I was a little kid, wanting to open the gift. Can't wait till Thursday. T for tour is pretty clever.

Glad you explained the Hot Potato giveaway. Now that's clever. Congrats on the win.

Looks like a wonderful place to camp out at! Are you going to post before and after pics of the camper? I'm too busy/lazy to search back to see when you first started working on it lol. It must have looked so cute going down the road!

I'm so anxious to have the virtual tour of your trailer. The Tumbleweed is certainly a head turner. I can see why you get all the attention. I love the hot potato idea. How often do we use a pattern just one time. Why not pass it along to someone who can use it and then share again.
