hot mama pin up swap and a blog win:

I played in Valerie's Hot Mama Pin up apron swap and this week I made my apron and I also got an apron in the mail....I love pin ups! My partner liked orange and green so I was really happy cause I love the bright colors....I used some really fun 70's style pin up fabric....Here is the apron...

I made a potholder and banner to hang for her game party, some cute napkins with a matching bucket holding a recipe and some chocolate...

The party pin up theme I asked for was of course a cowboy cook out. Madelyn made the cutest reversible apron. One side has cowgirls and the other has boots and hats...It fits great! Here I am showing it off....you will be able to see a close up of the fabric in the picture of the oven mitts.....

Two potholders, oven mitts, a Hershey bar, nail file, candle melts and the greatest hamburger cookbook rounded out the package.....I feel like the luckiest cowgirl in the world!

I also have to blog about the fact that I won a blog giveaway!!! I was so excited to win at http:///mizmollye.blogspot.com
She was celebrating her 250th post with a folk art giveaway...I got the most incredible package yesterday...

A folk art doll that I am so in love with, A collage made by Molly with vintage images and a folk art book.....She also sent me two candlewicking pillow kits....I am not a very good hand work person so with her permission I may pass them on...they are beautiful kits...
Thanks so much Molly!!!!!!! Have a good Sunday everyone...

First, congrats on the win. I love that doll. And the book and collage are perfect additions to your collection. I'm sure you'll find a place for that folk art book. It might fit in nicely with your trailer.

Now I know I should say something really, really nice about how great you sew and how you coordinated your fabric and how your swap partner did such a great job making your apron and matching accessories, BUT. . . all I could think about was those RED SHOES (grin). Have a great Sunday.
