I am playing in a Summer Swap hosted by Karla...We are supposed to swap a ten dollar limit summer themed gift with another player..I finished mine today...It is a Tussie Mussie with Dried rosemary and lavender in it and I have a couple of surprise summer goodies to include and wrap all pretty...It has vintage bathing beauties on it, old sheet music and beads and buttons...I had fun making it. This is the second one I have made...the first has been given as a gift...If you click on the sidebar for the summer swap you can find out more info about the swap.

Melinda - oh I love this! I may have to go check out that swap! :) Marva
What a fun idea!! Love the bathing beauty peeking out :)
Absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing, and for the link.
oh Melinda how charming. I love that pink on the back. Yummy. What a cool swap.. Thanks for your comments on my blog about the postcard. I liked that cluster of beads too. I just kind of spilled the beads across and then tried to stitch them down where they rooled. I love that encrusted look. These crazy quilts are addictive. I want to try a paper pieced one sometime soon. Hugz, Scary
Ohhh my!!
What a wonderful one-of-a-kind Tussie Mussie... I just love, love, love the strand of "pearls" dripping down from the top ~ Perfect!
